Sheffield South East Trust (SSET) formed in 2016 and unites seven local primary schools. The schools within the Trust work closely together for the benefit of the children and communities they serve. There are many opportunities for support, training and networking between the schools.
Woodhouse West is a creative, warm and welcoming school in the South East of Sheffield. We are looking for a confident and resilient Assistant Learning Mentor to join our busy Inclusion team. The right candidate will have good interpersonal skills, high expectations for all pupils and a passion for supporting children’s learning. We value those who have a strong team ethos and are also self-motivated in order to develop themselves alongside the children. Taking an interest in the children and their lives at home is an important part of the work we do and our Inclusion team are vital in building these relationships. The successful candidate will enjoy spending time outside and be creative in planning and running activities designed to stimulate children’s imaginations whilst enabling them to regulate their emotions. Experience of working in a school or similar environment will be beneficial.

There are many opportunities for support, training and networking between the schools. Woodhouse West Primary School is a creative, warm and welcoming school in the South East of Sheffield.
We seek to appoint an exceptional person to support teaching and learning through individual 1:1 work or with groups of pupils. Our behaviour intervention worker will implement behaviour management strategies outlined in students’ support plans. They will work directly with students to teach coping skills, self-regulation techniques, and social-emotional learning strategies to help manage their behaviours as well as help to support them accessing learning within the classroom.
We are looking for a Behaviour Intervention worker with good primary curriculum knowledge, who has high expectations for all pupils and a passion for supporting children’s learning. Taking an interest in the children and their lives at home is an important part of the work we do, and our support staff are vital in building these relationships.
