World Book Day
We had a fantastic day here at Woodhouse West Celebrating World Book Day!
The theme this year was 'Read Your Way' and with this in mind we had a brilliant time across school creating our own silly stories within our phases... Harold the Hippo and the story about Mr and Mrs Rimmer was thoroughly enjoyed by all!
We started the day off with welcoming parents into class for some reading for pleasure activities with the children, followed by A World Book Day Quiz, a random reader activity and finally ending the day off with a celebratory assembly lead by Miss Grayson who announced the winners of the costume competition.
What a lovely day had by all here at Woodhouse West!
What a fantastic effort from the children for our World Book Day competition...
